The governor’s promises to divest his vast portfolio of state contractors has not extended to his so-called blind trust, which has the governor’s money in at least a dozen companies with billions in state business
Governor JB Pritzker even spoke at a ribbon cutting for one of the companies in which he personally invested, Centene of Carbondale.
It “has been paid $20.6 billion from its state Medicaid contracts and other health programs,” the article reports.
And the Governor personally met with company executives prior to the purchase of the subsidiary that ended up doing business with state government.
The companies in which his blind trust invested “earned more than $20 billion in state business since he took office in 2019.”
The BGA found “at least 12 cases large and small in which the governor’s office and the agencies he oversees took action that created a potential conflict of interest for Pritzker.”
The blind trust is “a thin shield to conceal the governor’s pursuit of personal profits,” said Bridget J. Crawford, a professor at Pace University’s law school who reviewed the BGA reporting.
“This is not a blind trust in any meaningful sense of the phrase.”
Pritzker’s staff says that any such profits will be donated to charity and “there will be a full accounting after he leaves office.” [Emphasis added.]

The Monetary Base of the United States is presently about $5.5 Trillion Dollars. This figure Peaked at about $6.4 Trillion in December and is now down almost $1 Trillion.
What is included in the Monetary Base?
1) US Currency. It presently stands at about $2.3 Trillion.
2) Reserve Balances: Deposits held by banks at the Federal Reserve.
The Overall Monetary Base jumped significantly as a result of Savings being reclassified as part of M1.
On March 26, 2020 Regulation D (which sets Reserve requirements for banks) was effectively eliminated as Reserve Requirements were set to ZERO.
This made money more freely available and took away a tremendous amount of power from Mega Banks as Reserve Requirements were no longer a Strength.
This change occurred right about the time the Market did a U turn after falling 28% in 3 weeks; it was back at flat on the year by July of 2020.
Make no mistake, there was an attempt to collapse our Markets and our Economy in February/March of 2020.
This decisive action by President Trump took away a tremendous amount of Power and Relevance of the Federal Reserve and their shady benefactors.
Right NOW, the Dollar Rules the Globe and it will for some time as the Federal Reserve has to live by its mandate and ensure price stability via raising interest rates.
Long term Regulation D essentially being ended transferred Trillions of dollars of future interest earned from banks back to savers.
This Cataclysmic adjustment (this rule was snuck in during the manufactured Great Depression) is causing some grief via inflation. This pain is worth the long term gains our Economy and the American People will ultimately accrue

Authorities sought the name of every employee who was involved in the tax break, along with associated communications.”
