Woodstock Man Arrested for Leaving the Scene of a Harvard Accident

From the Harvard Police:

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On 08-25-22 at 2217 hrs, Police responded to the 21000 blk Airport Rd regarding a single vehicle accident.

It was reported and discovered a 2005 Chevrolet had left the roadway and struck a utility pole causing damage and the occupants in the vehicle fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

After a thorough investigation on 08-30-22 at 1900 hrs David Hernandez (m-18 yoa), 115 E Campbell Ave, Woodstock was arrested for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.

Hernandez was issued a citation for Driving too Fast for Conditions, Use of Unsafe Tires, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Failure to Give Information, and Failure to Report an Accident. Hernandez was released with a court date of 10-05-22 at 1330 hrs.
