A WAY OUT PROGRAM: RECENT ACTIVITY REPORT OF RESIDENTS LINKED WITH TREATMENT

A Way Out – McHenry County is a partnership between

  • the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office,
  • law enforcement,
  • Northwestern Hospital, and
  • New Directions

that offers substance abuse assessments 24/7 to anyone in McHenry County seeking recovery and direct links to treatment providers, whether inpatient or otherwise.

All a participant must do is walk through the doors of any police department or make contact with a community navigator and ask for help.

The participant is taken to Northwestern Medicine Woodstock Hospital for an assessment and, depending on their needs, is referred to the appropriate provider.
