School library workers who select books for the shelves need to be accountable to the parents of children who use the library by not selecting books with sexual matters.
Children should learn about sexual matters from their parents WHEN parents deem that their child is ready for certain information.
Books on other topics such as suicide, self-mutilation, etc should also be excluded from school libraries.
These topics are the responsibility of parents to discuss with children.
Shielding population groups by age from certain things is common and accepted by society such as in Illinois.
That includes gun ownership, voting and driver’s licenses.
A gun and FOID is not available until age 21.
Driver’s license is not available until age 16.
Voting is not available until age 18.
Similarly, books on sexual matters, suicide, mutilation, etc should not be available in grammar school libraries.
Could you imagine if people started murdering school board members, school administrators, and school teachers?
Every person that cares about our kids and for humanity should FOIA the school in their school district to see if they have these books.

Why do we need explicate sexual descriptions in books much less allow them in the school library.
