Why Doesn’t Pritzker Call a Special Legislative Session to Repeal the SAFE-T Act?

Governor JB Pritzker has the power to call a Special Session of the Illinois General Assembly.

He has admitted that the criminal “reform” bill he signed has problems.

So, why not admit it officially by replealing it and then go through a thoughtful, public legislative process to repass what passes the smell test…instead of passing it in the dead of night.

As Republican opponent Darren Bailey told NBC News:

JB Pritzker has the supermajority.

“Why hasn’t he called the legislature into action?

“Literally a text or a phone call, we could be demanded to meet in Springfield within a few hours.

“Why aren’t we meeting tomorrow at 9 o’clock hammering this thing out?”

  1. That would make him look week, and an obese weak guy cannot lead Illinois.

    Or can he??

  2. By not wanting to repeal this horrendous SAFE-T Act, one can only conclude that the governor and democrats in the Illinois Legislature WANT to dangerous ALLOW and lawless people to move freely about our communities and the State.

That means that they are on the side of rapists, murderers, robbers, car jackers and similar.
