LaHood Releases Fundraising Results

McHenry County has been allocated parts of four congressional districts by Illinois Democrats in its attempt gain still another seat.

The only one which is pretty much guaranteed to have a Republican is that of Peoria’s Darin LaHood.

He sends this press release:

LaHood Raises Nearly $450k in the 3rd Quarter of 2022, $3.68 Million for the 2022 Campaign Cycle, with Over $4.3 Million Cash on Hand

PEORIA – U.S. Representative Darin LaHood (R-IL) and candidate for the 16th District of Illinois announced that he raised over $446,000 in the third quarter of 2022.

Since the beginning of the 2022 campaign cycle, LaHood has raised over $3.68 million, and his campaign has $4.3 million cash on hand.

The district in which Darin LaHood is running contains the northwest corner of McHenry County.

LaHood has been an active fundraiser for candidates throughout Illinois and across the country. \

He has contributed over $1.3 million directly to candidates and raised over $2.4 million directly for the NRCC during the 2022 cycle.

“It is clear every day that Illinois residents and Americans are waking up to the harmful policies of the failed Biden-Pelosi agenda in Washington D.C. Prices continue to soar, the border gets worse, and America is weaker on the global stage. Democrats have no solutions to solve these challenges, and it’s time for a new direction in Congress,” said LaHood.

“I look forward to the work ahead in the next month to earn the trust of 16th District voters, and help Republicans across the country retake the House on election night.”

LaHood is the National Finance Chair for the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC). The NRCC announced that they raised $42.3 million in the third quarter and over $257 million for the 2022 election cycle. The NRCC has $92.3 million cash on hand, a $41 million increase from 2020.

LaHood, first elected to serve the 18th District of Illinois in 2015, won reelection in November of 2020 with over 70% of the vote. In November of 2021, LaHood announced his campaign for re-election in the 16th District of Illinois. LaHood has been endorsed by every Republican County Chairman and every Republican State Senator and Representative in the new 16th District. He has also been endorsed by former President Donald Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

  1. While they were meeting in a locked room to gerrymander districts, Republicans who were excluded were saying, “I do not agree.”

Maybe in the future Democrats will meet in a locked room to figure out how to round up their opponents onto train cars to head off to their execution.

Republicans will stand outside the room and say, “I do not agree.”

    Republicans are really pathetic.

I’m tired of these cucks and losers.
