“A federal jury last week awarded $2.6 million in damages to three former Lake County Clerk’s Office workers who claimed they were wrongfully fired the day after Clerk Erin Cartwright Weinstein took office.”
And, “jurors’ award increased the amount of punitive damages for each of the three plaintiffs to $75,000 from the $50,000 they had requested.”
$2.6 million for wrongful termination.
Who makes $2.6 million in their lifetime?
Our legal justice system is now SO CORRUPT and fraudulent, they don’t have a clue about how destructive it is to society and to the average worker.

CLM you obviously don’t understand the “legal justice system”, maybe you should go back to high school.
It was not a lawyer, judge or “other people involved in the legal justice system” that awarded the $2.6 million in damages, it was a JURY of the plaintiffs peers that determined the damages, there may have been damages to the plaintiffs beyond earnings.
Know what you are talking about or shut up!!
Look at your SS benefits statement online CLM. You might be surprised how much gross wages you made in your lifetime. Taxation took quite a bit of it. Many people rather than investing buy toys and then on the ass end don’t understand why they are working into their late 60s. Others get their money via trust funds from their parents. I know a few of those.
