ROBERT J GOULD SENTENCED TO 126 YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Robert J. Gould, 57, formerly of Island Lake and Woodstock, Illinois, was sentenced on January 27, 2023, to 126 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by the Honorable Judge Michael Coppedge after being found guilty of multiple counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child, Criminal Sexual Assault, and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse at a jury trial.
Defendant must serve 122 years of his sentence at 85%.
This case was investigated by Detective Constable Jennifer Lake of the Halifax Regional Police in Canada and Sergeant Michelle Asplund of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
The case was prosecuted by Sharyl Eisenstein and Tyler Mikan of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Yet Bill Clinton and Tom Pritzker remain free.
