A special meeting on February 1st at 7 is when the salary and other compensation of District 155’s Superintendent of Schools will be set.
The public will be allowed to address Board members prior to the vote, which obviously is a foregone conclusion.

I asked for the agenda packet and this was the prompt reply:
“There is no board packet for the special meeting, if there are materials/communications to be sent following the meeting, I will be sure to send those to you if there is action.”
I find it hard to comprehend how a new contact can be approved without some paper/text.
The Board of Ed will discuss and probably approve the terms and conditions of the proposed contract or offer of employment and direct the Board attorney to draw such a contract to offer to the proposed person.
Nothing unusual about this procedure.
Why are we the tax payers gladly putting up with paying these ridiculous salaries for these “educators” to indoctrinate our youth!?
Comrade Stalin would be proud! Salaries continue to climb whilst enrollment continues to decline.
Wake-up sheeple and homeschool your children!!!!!
It’s Illinois. Shut up & take it.
Or move out of Illinois.
Mr. Superintendent, the average salary for a manager of a Chuck E. Cheese is $30,000 plus a 3 % 401K Match.
And you don’t even have to deal with the weekly trauma of Ball Pit Incidents.
Nothing unusual about the vote being just before an election?
