Joe Walsh Debt Limit Straight Talk Apparently Needed Again

Remember when Joe Walsh represented McHenry County in Congress and President Barak Obama was warning that people would not get Medicare and Veterans benefits if the debt limit were not raised?

Walsh pointed out that Obama was lying, that the President could determine what bills not to pay, that it was bull shit (well, maybe he was more polite) to say people wouldn’t get their checks because other government expenditures could be delayed.

Now comes U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth re-cycling Obama’s false pitch:

Joe Walsh Debt Limit Straight Talk Apparently Needed Again — 11 Comments

  1. Our real debt ceiling hasn’t been decided in D.C. for years; it’s decided by Beijing.

  2. Joe Walsh is a LOSER.

If I were Joe Walsh, I’d worry first about his own financial dumpster fire before opining on the government.

Joe Walsh is a bloviating, vapid, failed stooge.

  3. But he was the only one brave enough to call out Emperer Barak Obama for wearing no clothes on this issue.

Someone needs to do the same thing this year.

  4. Neither party seems serious about passing balanced budgets, but then they have these fights about the debt limit.

They’re always spending more than they take in and increasing the debt, but then they argue about the debt limit.

Maybe they should argue more about the (unbalanced) budgets they pass every year so that they’re not constantly in this situation?

When is the last time they passed a balanced budget?

They’re back every few months raising the debt limit.

That tells me they’re not serious about not increasing debt.

Everyone’s talking about “muh debt limit muh debt limit” well what about the DEBT?

Why are you always having more of it?

There is no political will to do the right thing.

They pass an unbalanced budget and just shrug.

    Rinse and repeat.

But then they have these showdowns over the “limit.”

    This show has gotten boring.

  5. Republican party will never be worth a ….., till it forces passage of a Balanced Budget Amendment that doesn’t include borrowing to balance.
$210 million to maintain the debt, 15% of the total federal spending.

  6. ‘I love Rocky Mountain Way. Oh yes, the Mens Rea is the second door on the right.’

    Kenneally

  7. As someone else has said, if they don’t want to raise the debt, they can get the congress to pass a balanced budget.

The debt limit increase is not what raises the debt, it’s the prior budgets passed by Congress that raise the debt.

This stuff is not exactly rocket science.

People lien ti compare the debt to a credit cars debt (even though the similarity is very superficial). Well.

The credit card debt goes up when you swipe the card, not when the bill comes due.

If the republicans and the democrats don’t want the debt to go up any higher the options are still the same: raise same tax and/or cut some expenses.

    There is no magic trick

  8. CLM is right about what Walsh became.

His disgusting zionist jewish wife is, in large part, responsible.

After she tried to run as a fake (RINO) Republican, and lost in a GOP area, her real venomous nature emerged.

Walsh was a big second amendment politico, now he’s a Pritzkerite thanks to wifey.

When I heard his wife was advising Kathy Salvi, I laughed.

  9. You love the Jews. You can’t stop talking about them. Good that you you’re always thinking about them.
