New PAC Offers Opportunity to Meet Huntley School District Candidates Scheduled — 6 Comments
Many are commenting about this event and that these candidates should invite ALL candidates – you know the ones running against them- to be part of the meeting. At what point in elections do opponents organize an event for their opponents to come speak? Bunch of idiots on social media that want everyone to get a trophy too I bet. Can’t believe some people are upset these four people have the nerve to campaign. Maybe look at the 8 others doing nothing because they are too lazy to do so, or feel too confident they will win. April 4 vote the incumbents out (Maiorino/Scheiblein or whatever she calls her last name, Geheren, Daley and Gentry).
Not a new pac.
Meet and greets do nearly nothing to move the needle.
Candidates need to be knocking on doors, period.
OR making headlines for free publicity.
I see several candidates will be at the EXPOSING Radicals event with Charlie Kirk on Saturday in Crystal Lake.
That’s one way to set yourself apart from the rabid democrats and rubber-stamping republicans who occupy those boards and get publicity.
G-man, the PAC is a month old, and lists its address at a northwest Wisconsin PO Box with chairman/treasurer as a WI resident.
The PAC has not filed an amended report declaring which candidates it’s supporting.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a violation is filed against the PAC given its lack of transparency.
Dwight, this campaign will begin to be in earnest as soon as the calendar flips to March.
The McHenry County Citizens for Lower Taxes (MCCFLT) having these candidate gatherings good, and we’ll see if these gatherings resulting in volunteers for homestretch.

One of the D158 candidates is organizing the protests, according to Northwest Herald.
Former McHenry County Board Member Paula Yensen, in her capacity as head of the National Organization for Women McHenry County chapter, says the protests will start 8:30am Saturday morning.
Yensen gave one of the most impassioned inputs to the D158 public hearing back in December for the school board NOT to raise the levy.

Yensen wants to transition….. but not to male!
She wants to become a snail.
