MCC Candidate Kirk Donald Sends Message

From McHenry County County College Trustee candidate Kirk Donald:

NO VIRTUE SIGNALING HERE!

It’s interesting that in my research of my opponents for the upcoming McHenry County College Board of Trustee 6 yr. Term on April 4, I’ve found that in spite of this election being a non-partisan race, neither Suzanne Hoban or Alyssa Kueffner see it that way as exemplified by the flyer released by a sector of the Democratic Party in McHenry County.

District 2 Democrat’s post card advice on April 4th election.

It’s also clear that they are a political team, as a visit to their Facebook pages will demonstrate, Suzanne Hoban proclaiming that “Yes, Alyssa will be an incredible Trustee!” and posting Alyssa’s photo on Facebook.

However, the “best advice” given by Hoban is when she encourages her supporters to “bullet vote” for her in a campaign rally in Woodstock in 2019 when she was one of several candidates running for MCC Trustee as a video on her campaign Facebook page reveals.

McHenry County College Trustee candidate Kirk Donald’s promotion.

So, yes, in an attempt to be “non partisan”, I’m asking my supporters to vote for only me (Kirk Donald), or “bullet vote” for me, as this effectively gives my candidacy a vote, yet keeping my opponents from accumulating any vote, since two out of three of will be elected Trustees

  1. Donald is not only a Republican precinct committeeman but also Chairman of McHenry Township Republican Central Committee.

I agree Hoban is not nonpartisan, but neither is he.

  2. Correcting, I’m the Chairman of the McHenry Township GOP, which is confined to McHenry Township itself.

I consider my position an office of service.

Having been a Democrat in a previous life, I can tell you I understand how to be “non partisan”, to see things from both sides.

I was trying to be respectful of those boundaries in this consolidated election.

It’s clear the local Democrats want to deny voters a choice and want party rule.

I want to preserve McHenry County College and keep it a value for future generations, that’s “non partisan”.

  3. Democrats in McHenry County are following the lead of republicans in florida.

Florida is the state the whole country should follow – right?????

  4. In today’s woke world and sneaky politics, it is important to know exactly where every candidate for every position publicly state their political and policy leanings very clearly.

This is not happening in our local races.

It is incredibly difficult to find this information scouring the internet.

  5. Hoban supports the recent hiring of a DEI enforcer, because BIG CORPORATIONS ALL DO IT! Rubbish
