No Bites on Lakewood’s Request for Proposal to Build a RedTail Golf Course Clubhouse

This man is heading to the 6 PM Lakewood Budget Hearing in the RedTail Clubhouse in 2011.

Frlom a response to a Freedom of Information request asking for copies of any responses to the Village’s request for firms to build a new clubhouse:

“No replies to the RFP request have been submitted to the Village.”

This addition information was provided:

“Please be advised the Village is currently in the process of researching further options for a
proposed means of redeveloping the RedTail Clubhouse, Pursuant to 5 ILCS 140 Section 7(l)(f),
the documents requested are preliminary drafts, notes, recommendation, memoranda and other
records in which opinions are expressed are exempt from disclosure,”

  1. I already sent them the plans and cost for the Home Depot Kids Treehouse Kit.

    They must be stuck on the spelling of the “NO GURLS ALLOWED” sign I included.

  2. I prefer to golf at the Woodstock Country Club and Turnberry.

  3. Is this an approved project?

    Or is the village spending thousands to solicit bids for an unapproved project like their lakefront restaurant fantasy?
