Cocaine Conviction Results in Decade+ Sentence for Harvard Man

CAMERON RATCLIFF SENTENCED TO TEN AND ONE-HALF YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR THE OFFENSE OF POSSESSION OF COCAINE

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Cameron Ratcliff, 40, of Harvard, Illinois, was sentenced to ten and one-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Honorable Judge James Cowlin after pleading guilty to Unlawful Possession of Cocaine, a Class 1 Felony. 

As part of an investigation into drug activity at Mr. Ratcliff’s home, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force obtained a search warrant.

On or about March 3, 2022, the search warrant was executed by members of the Task Force.

They found approximately 104 grams of cocaine in Mr. Ratcliff’s home.

This case was prosecuted by Brian Miller of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
