West Dundee picks up another closed anchor at Spring Hill Mall

West Dundee trustees on Monday approved an ordinance authorizing the purchase of the former Sears building at Spring Hill Mall.

The $2 million deal comes two weeks after the board agreed to acquire the former Macy’s at the mall that straddles West Dundee and Carpentersville. Full Story

    Weast Dundee could clean up BIG time renting all that vacant space to the Feds.

  3. Wonder if some thing else at play in the decline of malls.

    Heard of a mall on NW side of Chicago from a relative who said it, The Brickyard, had huge problems with gang members walking in the mall corridors.

    The area was redone into a strip mall.
