Congressman LaHood and Senator Syverson Open their New Joint District Office
CHERRY VALLEY, IL – Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-16) and State Senator Dave Syverson (35th Senate Dist.) hosted an Open House of their joint constituent service office on June 1.
The open house was a great opportunity to welcome constituents and community members to learn more about the new office.
“This federal and state constituent service office is the first of its kind in northern Illinois,” said Senator Syverson.
“Combining these offices makes it more accessible for constituents whether they need assistance with federal or state issues and saves taxpayer dollars.”
Congressman LaHood and Senator Syverson’s District Office is located off Lyford Road, east of I-90 on the Winnebago/Boone County border at 527 Colman Center Drive,Rockford, IL 61108. The office is fully staffed and open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Syverson is not correct about his and LaHood’s being the first State-Federal legislative office in Northern Illinois.
State Senator and Congressman Phil Crane had a joint office in Crystal Lake in the 1980’s.
Jan Schakowsky had a combined office in Chicago until the latest redistricting:
‘The closure of her North Side district office where has been “bittersweet,” according to Schakowsky.
“There, we pioneered the idea of a one-stop shop featuring local, state, and federal officials all in one location to best serve our constituents,” she said. “Constituents who visited this office received excellent service from their Congresswoman, Alderman, State Senator, State Representative, and Cook County Commissioner.”‘
Schakowsky is a Mossad asset, as well as her convicted criminal husband.
They need to be arrested (in the case of Creamer, Re-arrested), tried, convicted and hanged. Just like the darling Rosenbergs.
