The McHenry County Board has voted to cut legal speed limits on three county roads:
- 45 MPH from 55 MPH on Ridgefield Road from Route 14 to Country Club Road
- 50 MPH from 55 MPH on Charles Road from Illinois Route 47 to Route 20
- 40 MPH from 45 MPH on Main Street from Wilmot Road to State Park Road
