IMMIGRATION WORKSHOP SERIES:
Know Your Rights, Plan Ahead, and Defend Yourself
Session 1: Know Your Rights — Wednesday January 29th at 6:00 pm
Session 2: Emergency Planning — Wednesday March 12th at 5:00 pm
Session 3: Deportation Defense — Wednesday April 16th at 5:00 pm
English-language worshops will be in Room A211 and Spanish-language workshops in Room A215 at McHenry County College, halfway between Crystal Lake and Woodstock on Route 14. Best parking for building A is on the north side.
Please join La Voz Latina (part of the YWCA of Illinois) and McHenry County College for a three-part workshop series on immigration issues and how to be an all for those in your community. Attend one, two or all three sessions based on your interest. Each workshop will be offered in English and Spanish.
Workshops are free and open to the public. Registration is not required but highly recommended. To register, please call or text Marcos Saldivar, Undocumented Student Liaison, at 224-605-0852. Registration allows the sponsors to better prepare. No record of registrations will be kept.
