From State Senator Darby Hills:

I am honored to represent you as the new State Senator for Illinois’ 26th Senate District.
After being sworn in last Friday, I have spent the week in Springfield, diving into legislative work and setting up my Springfield and district offices to better serve you.
As a mother, wife, and longtime advocate for children and families, I understand the importance of fighting for policies that strengthen our communities.
My experience as a Barrington Hills trustee, attorney, former prosecutor, and founder of Barrington Children’s Charities—which provides meals, medical assistance, and social services to hundreds of children each week—has shaped my commitment to public service.
I am excited to share that I have also been named Minority Spokesperson for the Child Welfare Committee, where I will focus on protecting and supporting children across Illinois.
This issue is personal to me, and I have seen firsthand how strong policies can change lives.
I will also serve on the Commerce, Consumer Protection, Judiciary, and Transportation Committees, working on economic growth, public safety, and infrastructure improvements.
As I begin my work in the Illinois Senate, my priorities are clear: fighting for families, tax relief, curbing reckless government spending, strengthening the economy, and ensuring government accountability.
I will always be your voice in Springfield, making sure families are heard and working to build a better future for the next generation.
My team and I are here to serve you, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. You can contact my offices or visit my website at www.senatordarbyhills.com for more information.
I look forward to working together to make our district and state a better place for everyone.
