As I had mentioned previously, our RINO Removal PAC will have the sole purpose of helping support grassroots primary opponents against the ever elusive incumbent RINO. The first step of effective RINO hunting requires stalking the elected officials donations to find which are taking money from Democrats.
The list below is twelve House Republicans who take money from the most formidable Democrat controlled lobby in the state.
The other twenty-eight House Republicans do not take any contributions from this Democrat lobby. The IEA in 2024 contributed around $3M to further Democrat policies that Republicans mostly find abhorrent.

These twelve Republicans accept donations from this organization in exchange for compliance and silence when demanded such as when your children suffered immensely during COVID. These compliance payments ensured the silence of these RINO all through that timeframe. That is why we generally refer to these payments as compliance payments.
While the RINO removal PAC supports the proposition that every Republican House Member needs to have a grassroots primary opponent in 2026, the RINO removal PAC will focus on this list.
As with any safari, the biggest and most dangerous are always the most prized.
We have already concluded three of the most dangerous RINOS must be eliminated from the herd regardless.
They are Democrat darlings Tony McCombie and Norine Hammond.
Obviously, Chicken Dinner Charlie Meier also makes the first round as he is the most prized RINO of them all having siphoned a whopping quarter of a million dollars from the Democrat lobby.
The next steps will be to analyze their voting records and provide a breakdown of Democrat bills which each of them have voted for in recent history.
After that is done, it is time to start gearing up

The Friend of the Blog added this commentary:
Jeff Keicher of the 70th district made DeVore’s naughty list and may find himself facing a primary opponent because of it. DeVore is threatening to bankroll a potential challenger.
The 70th district includes parts of Grafton Township in McHenry County up to and included Carolyn Schofield’s precinct (because Sue Ness did not want Schofield running against her.
Keicher’s part of the district in McHenry County voted Republican, but not by as large of a margin as the district as a whole.

Many analysts expect 2026 to be a tough year for Illinois Republicans due to midterm backlash against Trump much like how 2018 was.
The rapidly developed Grafton Township is competitive and Republicans further up the ticket who spook voters could hurt down ballot Republicans such as those running in the highly competitive county board districts 2 and 3.
It’s unlikely that a man from Bond County, less than an hour from St. Louis, is familiar with McHenry County politics.
DeVore is upset that some Republicans took money from the Illinois Education Association and is threatening to help primary challengers against them next year.
Could he be using his egg roll profits to fund these challengers?

So far, none of the challengers’ names are known, but it sounds like announcements will soon be made.
While some people applaud DeVore for standing up against “RINOs” there are others who believe his efforts are not constructive but destructive.

They argue that perhaps the strategy of replacing Republicans with better ones makes sense in a place like Alabama, but do people in Illinois have the luxury to demand the perfect Republican?
Democrats currently hold supermajorities in both chambers of the Illinois legislature.
Replacing a so-called RINO with a “real” Republican still leaves Republicans without power, and in the worst-case scenario it could result in more actual Democrats winning seats.
It diverts money that could have otherwise been used to claw back Democrats’ grip in Springfield or at the very least play defense and directs it to a Republican primary — the winner of which will be highly irrelevant unless Republicans manage to increase their numbers.
Needless to say, DeVore disagrees with that assessment and believes he is helping.
McHenry County Blog will keep readers updated about all candidate announcements.
