There have been stories reported beyond local media markets of Democrats disrupting Town Hall Meetings of Republican Members of Congress.

Now comes the Chicago Tribune reporting on Sean Casten, the man who beat Republican Peter Roskam when he represented Algonquin Township prior to reapportionment.

It appears that Casten is not pro-Hamas enough as well as not friendly enough to Israel.

The reporters write of “…heated confrontations between the congressman and a small group of Palestinian and Israeli supporters,

“The disruption began when a pro-Israel supporter wearing an Israeli flag confronted Casten. That prompted some members from a group of five pro-Palestinian supporters to individually confront Casten at the front of the stage at the American Legion Post 80 hall where the town hall was being held.”

The meeting was supposed to be a discussion of Trump budget-cutting.

Supporters in the audience of 200 chanted, “Casten, Casten, Casten,” when there were interruptions.

Police action was required.
