Former Nunda Clerk Endorses Rob Parrish, Cites Opponents Intimidation from Current Office Holder
Rob Parrish, Candidate for Nunda Township Highway Commissioner, Pledges Respect and Integrity
Nunda Township, IL – Rob Parrish, candidate for Nunda Township Highway Commissioner, has received a strong endorsement from former Nunda Township Clerk Angela Koscavage.
In a powerful statement, Mrs. Koscavage has urged residents to vote for Parrish, citing his impeccable character and citing the disturbing experiences she faced from incumbent Highway Commissioner Iron Mike Lesperance when she was the elected Township Clerk.
“If you live in Nunda Township, I hope you will vote for Rob.
“He served on the Nunda Board and is one of the most respectable men I have had the pleasure to work alongside,” Koscavage said,.
“Unlike the current officeholder, Rob Parrish won’t BULLY township employees, residents or other elected officials.”
Koscavage went on to reveal troubling incidents that occurred during her tenure as Clerk, stating, “As Clerk, I was in charge of keeping the bids secure that came in from outside businesses.
“The bid envelopes always seemed to have been opened and taped close before the official day the bids were to be opened.
“It’s my belief that this would give certain companies and those at the road district an advantage of both knowing what the lowest bid was, say for paving the roads, therefore letting (Lesperance’s) friends get the number to bid below in order to secure a contract.
“When I spoke up, I was verbally and physically intimidated by Mr Lesperance, and at one point even found 4 flat tires on my car.”
Parrish, a respected member of the community with a proven track record of service on the Nunda Board, pledges to bring honor, trustworthiness, and qualifications to the vital role of Highway Commissioner.
“I am deeply troubled by the allegations of intimidation and potential impropriety in the bidding process,” Parrish stated.
“As Highway Commissioner, I will ensure a transparent and fair process that prioritizes the best interests of Nunda Township residents.”
With the election approaching, Angela Koscavage implores voters to “choose wisely and vote for Rob Parrish” for this “MOST important position in the ENTIRE TOWNSHIP.”
Parrish’s commitment to integrity and respect stands in stark contrast to the troubling experiences reported under Lesperance’s tenure.
