From Nunda Township Trustee Rob Parrish, seeking to win the contest for Nunda Township .

Accompanying the images was this message:

If you remember, we had a huge snowstorm when Lesperance, Kopsell, and Myself ran against each other in 2013.

A few poling places ran out of all ballots by noon and there was no viable way to get more SBOE certified paper ballots to the polling places due to the need to send precinct specific certified ballots to the polling places due to the storm.

I received multiple calls from residents trying to vote at Vetrans Acres 2 sites.

This was back when there were only paper ballots available.

The historic low turn out for a township primary dictated the stocking of only 8-10% ballots back then.

And when voters burned through the initial stock, there was no relief when voters came back later that day.

Per Clerk Cathy Schultz explanation when asked why she didn’t have a great answer other than she only stocked per previous turn outs.
