From the McHenry County Democratic Party Central Committee website come these candidate endorsements. (I have seen nothing like this from local Republicans.)
There are many endorsements in races in which there no more or fewer candidates on the ballot than openings. The only reasons I can think of a party making endorsements in such contests is to be able to see how many voters they can influence.
Strangely, there is no endorsement in the Huntley School Board race. The article below may explain why:
