Darin Bailey, the man who lost big time to JB Pritzker, but carried McHenry County 58,839 to 55,134, was the featured Lincoln Day Dinner speaker for the McHenry County Republican Central Committee.


The event was held at the Bull Valley Country Club.

McHenry County Board Chairman Mike Buehler addressed the crowd.

State Senator Craig Wilcox also spoke.
Shane Bouvet, gave his first speech. As a 24-year old inn 2016, he campaigned for Donald Trump, received some press and was invited to the Inauguration and given $10,000 by the President which he used to help finance his father’s fight against bladder cancer. Bouvet wrote a book about the experience.
State Rep. Marty McLaughlin was the Master of Ceremonies.
Revealing a new talent was State Rep. Tom Weber who was the DJ.
Attendance was estimated at 100-125 by the Friend of McHenry County Blog who took these photos.
Last year attendance was reported to be about ninety people.
