Bonner Drive Home Burns
On Tuesday, April 8th, at approximately 3:10 a.m., the McHenry Township Fire Protection District (MTFPD) was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 4800 block of W. Bonner Drive in the City of McHenry.

Fire crews arrived on the scene within five minutes to find a single-story residence with smoke visible at the rear.
It was quickly confirmed that all residents had safely evacuated the building.
Crews deployed a hose line to the rear of the home for fire suppression while simultaneously conducting an interior search.
The exterior fire was brought under control within ten minutes.
No residents or firefighters were injured in the incident, and the MTFPD is currently investigating the fire.
While a damage estimate is not yet available, the home has been deemed uninhabitable due to the shutdown of electricity and gas.
The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the displaced residents.
