ALEJANDRO BARRADAS FOUND GUILTY OF CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD AFTER JURY TRIAL
The McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office announces that Alejandro Barradas, 36, of Woodstock, Illinois, was found guilty on three counts of Criminal Sexual Assault after a four-day jury trial before the Honorable Judge Tiffany Davis. Sentencing has been set for June 11, 2025.

Evidence presented at trial proved that between March 1, 2023, and June 23, 2023, Barradas committed multiple acts of sexual penetration against a female minor child, a family member to Barradas, at a time when the child was under 18 years of age.
McHenry County State’s Attorney Randi Freese would like to thank Victim Witness Coordinator Polo Fabian and McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office Investigators Keith Von Allmen and Robert Bice for their assistance on the case. Freese also commends the diligent work effort by both Detective Sharp and Detective Prentice of the Woodstock Police Department for their thorough investigation.
The case was successfully prosecuted at trial by Deputy Chief Margaret O’Brien and Assistant State’s Attorney Maria Marek.
