From State Rep. Tom Weber:
Rep. Weber Takes Oath of Office for New 104th General Assembly
“Our challenges are serious, but not insurmountable”
Springfield, IL…Surrounded by family and friends, State Representative Tom Weber was sworn into office as the new 104th Illinois General Assembly got underway.
“The start of each new General Assembly is an opportunity for a fresh start, and a fresh look at ways to solve problems.
“Many of our challenges are serious, but they’re certainly not insurmountable,” said Rep. Weber (R-Fox Lake).
The 64th House District represented by Rep. Weber includes parts of Lake and McHenry Counties running along the border with Wisconsin.
Before entering the General Assembly, Rep. Weber spent most of his life working on his family farm and as a carpenter. He and his wife Becki still live in his family’s original farmhouse today.
“This spring we need to work together to reduce our families’ tax burden and to help keep our communities safe to ensure Illinois remains a place where our children and our grandchildren will want to stay and raise their own families,” Rep. Weber said.
During the spring session, Rep. Weber encourages district residents to contact him with questions or concerns at 847.629.5439 or at repweber.com.
