One of Joe Biden’s First Lies Remembered by a Resident of His Wilmington Neighborhood
As you know my political exposure and interest dates back to my early years as a teenager.
For example I was an Alternate Delegate at the Chicago Democrat National Convention in 1952 even though my being under age… (My father was the Delegate and was interviewed and billed as Mr. Democrat by the Mutual Broadcasting Network every night of Convention).
So my communication efforts (intent fails to imply perfection) have been to genuinely keep an appropriate demeanor in any conversation so to have a satisfactory result without unnecessary discord that disrupts the purpose of the mission.
This was my approach in the description of the event described below.
In 1972 Joe Biden was a neighbor in unincorporated Wilmington, DE.
My family and I lived in a subdivision known as Brookmead 2 and Joe lived in Brookmead 1.
Our houses were separated by Centerville Road. Joe was on the east side of Centerville Road and we were on the west side.
Joe Biden had meetings in a part of Saint Catherine of Siena Church facility during the 1972 campaign and after his election. I had visited with him during all of his meetings.
At one of the Joe Biden meetings he had specifically promised to remain firm in regard to his position on a particular issue.
After his election he reversed his position,
So, after the notice of the next meeting at Saint Catherine, I arrived before the gathering began so to encounter Joe Biden before his being distracted by other attendee
Joe entered the area escorted by his brothers (one each side of Joe).
As they approached (as in the past) I moved up to Joe and as asked about his change in position with the issue.
Immediately, the arm of the brother on his right side shot up into my face.
Joe never answered and they marched right on ahead.
I then left the meeting and never spoke or heard from him thereafter.
The specific issue is unimportant because it demonstrates an unwarranted behavior for something of this nature.
As a matter of historic record, he has lied about many things again and again to this day.

Joe Biden was an employee of New Castle County and lived in a county owned home that was associated with a swimming pool and other property contiguous to Brookmead One…It can be found on Google Earth 2022 and other years at 30 degrees 45 minutes 16.22 Seconds N and 75 degrees 37 minutes 15.13 W…(a house is near but a short distance from the pool)
It is unknown if he had any cost for those facilities…My son Allen used to swim in that pool with the Biden boy before the auto accident that killed Joe Biden’s wife. My encounter with Joe and his brothers preceded that accident.
