Lara Trump visits Illinois
‘America First Leadership Dinner’ with Lara Trump took place on February 21 in DuPage County.
February 21, 2025, became a memorable day for many people who reside in Illinois.
One of the most influential women in America, Lara Trump, visited Addison, Illinois.

She met with many powerful local politicians and influential people, gave a wonderful speech, and, most importantly, gave the people of Illinois a reason to have hope.
“In 2024 he had 45% of the vote in the State of Illinois,” said Lara Trump in her address to the audience.
“We are about to turn the State of Illinois in the next presidential election to a red state. No longer a blue state,” she continued.
The ‘America First Leadership Dinner,’ an exclusive event featuring Lara Trump, was organized by McHenry County GOPAC in collaboration with the campaign committee Citizens to Elect Joe Tirio.
It took place at Venuti’s Banquets & Ristorante in Addison.

The event wouldn’t have been possible without their hard work and leadership.

Gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey attended the event and presented his new book ‘Rooted for a Reason.’
Pastor Marlon Ramírez from Holy Spirit & Fire to the Nations Ministries said a powerful prayer in the beginning of the dinner, which was translated into English by Pastor Simon Poras.
The Chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Kathy Salvi, greeted everyone and said that we had historic Republican voter turnout in Illinois and that we are a little less blue than before November 2024.
Martin J. McLaughlin, Illinois State Representative, noted that we must embrace politics that will live long after Trump, and that in Illinois we need to lead, not to follow.
Tony McCombie, the Republican Minority Leader of the Illinois House of Representatives, encouraged everyone to use their voice and go and vote.
Brett Corrigan thanked everyone for attending and particularly the restaurant owners for hosting this event at their beautiful facility.
Karen Tirio said that the real fight has just begun.
McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio gave a powerful speech.
He thanked everyone who contributed to this event and those who attended ‘America First Leadership Dinner’ with Lara Trump.
“Trump’s presidential win signals America’s intent to return traditional values and common sense.
“The red shift in Illinois and the turnout at our event tonight prove that Illinois is not immune to common sense and thirsts for an accountable and just government,” he said.
“He is the head of the executive, and he is, as an executive, taking control of that branch. And I think that’s admirable,” Tirio said.
He also underlined that we have to stay strong. Tirio introduced and welcomed Lara Trump, the Keynote Speaker of the event.
Lara Trump was greeted with a standing ovation and round of applause.
She said that the new administration is doing incredible things all across this country.
“It’s promises made, promises kept,” noted Lara.
She also mentioned that Department of Government Efficiency saves Americans tons of money and reminded that it’s possible to go to the DOGE website and see how much we are saving daily.
“DOGE’s total estimated savings are $55 billion, which is a combination of fraud detection/deletion, contract/lease cancellations, contract/lease renegotiations, asset sales, grant cancellations, workforce reductions, programmatic changes, and regulatory savings,” says the DOGE website.
Lara mentioned what her family and her father-in-law had to go through and said that Donald Trump had survived by the grace of God.
Now, Donald Trump is putting his office together the way he wanted.
“We needed a disinfectant in Washington D.C.,” she said showing her enthusiasm about the new administration.
“We did take our country back.”
Lara also told everyone to check out her new show on Fox called “My View with Lara Trump.”
It airs at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday nights and lasts an hour.
The show debuted on February 22, the day after the event in Addison took place.
The first show featured such powerful and influential women as Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
The viewers were able to hear from them what it’s like to serve in this administration, how they are overcoming unique challenges, and what their goals are for their futures and the future of our great nation.
Whatever Lara Trump is doing, is for the future of the United States of America.
She is happy to play her role in the process of taking our country back.
She also mentioned that we are going to get a Republican governor here, in Illinois.
She predicted a Republican governor in California as well, because people in our two states are done with their current administrations.
“We have such an opportunity right now,” she said.
“We brought so many voters into this party and truly expanded the base of the Republica n Party in 2024.
”We see huge shifts with youth voters, with Hispanic voters, and Black voters, “Lara noted.
“It’s cool to be a Republican again,” she emphasized.
As a former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, Lara assured that she will always stand for Republican values, because freedom is one generation away from extinction, as Ronald Regan said.
The ‘America First Leadership Dinner with Lara Trump’ became a memorable event for everyone who attended it and for everyone who got involved in sponsoring it and organizing it.
Lara’s keynote remarks inspired and energized the attendees and gave everyone hope that a great future is just ahead for our country, the United States of America.
