Not counting on the Northwest Herald to deliver his positive messages, State Rep. Jack Franks is advertising on the WLS-AM web site.
His pitch is what McHenry County Board member Andrew Gasser first brought to light–that McHenry County pay higher property taxes than 99% of other counties.
Think we should just go for 100%?
So Jack plagiarizes, nothing new.
There are 3,143 county or county- equivalents in the United States. McHenry County has the 29th highest property taxes in the United States… math in public is always dangerous – here we go:
29 / 3,143 = 99.99077315 percent
or
McHenry County is taxed higher than 99.99077315 percent of all other county and county-equivalents in the United States.
Maybe some other elected officials will jump in here but as far as I know only the McHenry County Board cut the budget, cut the levy, and cut their extraction last year. The county board, we can do better, but the county board isn’t the source of your property tax pain.
Andrew, u read my mind & beat me
To putting on the blog about Mchenry
County having the 29th highest property
Taxes out of 3,143 counties in the
WHOLE US .
Another FACT that needs to be continuously put out there for
Voters to know this year.
People in this county NEED to get
OFF THEIR BUTTS & go to the biggest
Offender’s board meetings (grade school,
High school, & Mchenry County Jr College) and TELL them to stop the
UNNECESSARY BIG SPENDING ,!
Keep them crazy ads commin’!
