It is also common knowledge that those who cooperate early on in an investigation tend to get less punishment for wrongdoing.

The FBI is a politically compromised organization that
has destroyed their once great reputation, they should never be trusted
to enforce the law equally and fairly again.

It’s almost always a very bad idea to talk to them without having an attorney present.
The same advice applies for talking to the local police, at least in cases where you might be even peripherally involved in their investigation.

A report by Brian Ross of ABC on December 1 regarding Michael Flynn was fake news. Ross reported that Flynn was prepared to testify that Donald Trump the presidential “candidate” told Flynn to contact the Russians.
That was incorrect and ABC said that Ross was wrong and suspended him for 4 weeks.
The true story is that Flynn was asked to contact the Russians AFTER Trump became “President-Elect.”
The mostly left wing media and their fake news is constantly inferring or stating that it is illegal for a president-elect’s transition team to contact Russians.
They want Americans to think that contacting the British or French or Germans, etc, is OK, but contacting Russians is illegal and evil.
ABC’s suspension of Brian Ross for spewing fake news once again proves Donald Trump correct about many in the media making up stories and fake news.
