New Publication Appears Backing Jeanne Ives Gubernatorial Candidacy

Got an email asking me if I would like to receive copies of a new publication called “Prairie State Wire.”

Why not?

So, a little while latter I received a paper with favorable articles about Republican candidate for Governor Jeanne Ives.

It also has negative articles about her GOP primary opponent, Governor Bruce Rauner.

The fist edition even had a piece about State Rep. Steve Reick.

You can see the top of the front page of the first edition in 2018 below:

State Rep. David McSweeney is featured in one article entitled,

McSweeney: Algonquin Township ‘best example of bad government’

There’s an article about McHenry County Board member Craig Wilcox’ State Senate candidacy.

A press release from State Rep. Allen Skillicorn appears in one article.

In the post-Christmas week edition, there was an article about former Algonquin Township Road Commissioner Bob Miller’s being employed by Nunda Township.  It was based on an article in McHenry County Blog.

Note the photo of a four-lane highway in this article about Bob Miller’s employment by Nunda Township.

The paper comes from a Dan Proft operation, Local Government Information Services.

  1. Thank You Cal, for posting. Jeanne Ives is a Terrific Candidate, a Breath of Fresh Air! I do believe a Grass Roots Movement will take her over the line. I would like to think of her as Illinois’s Nikki Haley. A true Patriot.

  2. Yep.
The RINO traitor Rauner will soon be kicked to the curb with the rest of the trash.
Rauner admits that he’s “not in charge” so let’s elect Jeanne Ives for governor.

BTW, where are all the woman’s groups that are always whining and crying that more women
should be elected to a high political office … too busy marching ?

  3. Some unstable compassionate conservative ready to support Hillary in arrears? Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock…

  4. If paper associated with Dan Proft, then probably is reputable. His morning show on am560 M-F has intelligent discussion and call-ins from well informed listeners. What a contrast to other radio stations in Chicago some of which have pompous and arrogant hosts that deal with fake stuff, left-wing Democrat propaganda, chatter and mindless chuckling and laughing.

  5. AM 560; home of “1-term-and-then-kicked-out-of-Congress” Joe Walsh. Yes, our family-values, irresponsible spewer of hate toward immigrants who says a government shutdown is a good thing. “Well informed listeners…” Grammar lessons anyone? Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock…

  6. Sunshine blogger, we know you are a champion of women’s rights. Are we still on time to organize a multitudinal march of women around the Woodstock Square? Find out please, and let us know. We will follow you right to the very end of this planet to stand for what we believe. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock…

  7. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yes, we all know Grand Theft Algonquin Township is B-A-D, yet the crookedness of Nunda and McHenry Townships actually dwarfs Alg’s.

    McSweeney for Governor!

  8. Lesperance was supposed to clean things up in Nunda, but all he did was make it dirtier.

  9. LOL – “new publication.”

This is just another one of the pretend newspapers that Proft owns.

  10. How do I get a subscription to Prairie State Wire? Loved this.
