Hey! The only thing that you can blame on the military is that they followed orders from the politicians and were unable to legally cut the bindings that had them fighting with both arms tied behind their backs!
The political will seemed lacking and you can’t win a war by sending in troops to “Got get ’em, but please play nice and don’t hurt anyone!”
