I asked several hours ago how attempts to contact those with whom infected people have interacted could take place without Health Department employees figuring out the race, but have not received a reply.

Cal, the gender breakdown should show a heavy predominance of males, and an age, smoking, and co-morbidity breakdown would have been helpful but beyond the capacity of our incompetent Co health dept., staffed with folks who think they are entitled to worship from mere citizens paying their bloated salaries.

It would be very useful for our population to have more data on those that have been stricken WITHOUT divulging any names or other identifying characteristics.
The U.S. acknowledged top epidemic/pandemic experts, Dr Fauci and Dr Birx, continually – daily – tell us how important it is for them to have as much as possible more and more data.
So, what about we here in McHenry County. Are we entitled to get data that would be useful to us in avoiding the virus?
Such as ages, weights of persons (underweight, normal, slightly overweight, grossly overweight), amount and percent of underlying conditions such as diabetes, pre-diabetes, hypertension, anemic, heart failure, kidney failure, liver problems, lung cancer, etc.
Also, what were general contacts that virus person had. Going to work or not, shopping and what kinds of stores, visiting with friends and/or relatives, etc.
So, today, the coronaclockvirus continues unabated. No solution nor vaccine on the horizon.
We are still waiting for the entertaining explanation from my sunshine Political Science and Sociology professor as to why the great United States and our great six-times-bankrupt, sexual-assaulter-in-chief command the world with 25% of Covid-19 cases and 12% of total deaths despite accounting for 4% of the planet’s population and being given several months to prepare ahead of time.
