McSweeney District in Play as Madigan Sends Dem $50,000 and Union Another $58,000

The State Representative district from which David McSweeney is retiring has been targeted by House Speaker Mike Madigan.

Marci Suelzer

It could be a replay of the 2012 contest when Madigan backed former State Rep. Mark Beaubien’s wife Dee’s Independent candidacy against McSweeney.

Barrington Hills Village President Martin McLaughlin was the only one to file for the office prior to the primary election.

Marci Svelzer of Island Lake mounted a successful post-primary petition campaign and got on the ballot as a Democrat.

Yesterday, Svelzer reported $108,354.58 in contributions to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

That includes staffer Michael Marks of Schaumburg two mailings and $4,910 in cash, all from Madigan-controlled committees.

In addition, Madigan union ally, LIUNA Chicago Laborers’ District Council PAC contributed $57,800.

  1. The 52nd district didn’t make it into yesterday’s Democrat target list published by POLITICO.

Madigan sure wants his 80+ supermajority going into redistricting and by his 80th birthday.

  2. Madigan has the bucks to throw around.

She looks like a female JB doppelganger.

Perhaps they can devour a meal together, roly poly style?

  3. It’s interesting and sad that there’s no news, from these Republicans, for this office:

    Martin McLaughlin
    52nd House Candidate

    Tim Schneider
    Illinois Chair

    Sean Morrison
    Cook County Chair

    Tyler Wilkie
    McHenry County Chair

    ☹️

  4. I’d like to donate yesterday’s lunch and my Boot to their monkey loving asses!

Letter: Supporting Marci Suelzer: August 15, 2020 NorthWest Herald: Marci Suelzer-D of Island Lake is the clear choice to for IL State Representative in District 52. … “Senator Duckworth has been a great friend to the Jewish community and a champion on the issues they care about…..

Why are we beset by these racist jews all the time kvetching about their issues?

  6. Another leftist jew. Weimar Illinois. Personal PAC favorite.

  7. John, perhaps that is because the 52nd district has Alia Sarfraz, a Green Party candidate, running for office, which, in theory, should take votes away from the Democrat and help the Republican.

Also, I think Martin McLaughlin, the Republican candidate, is well known (and not in a bad way).

Lastly, Marci Suelzer’s support among men will be low, for reasons.

  8. “Little” Marci! What an overgrown hog. They feast on our hard work/productivity. The mechanism of the redistribution is called taxes.

We are breeding more and more with our welfare handouts.

Why cannot average people see this? Are they lobotomized by the TV’s Maddows /Anderson Coopers/Lemons?

Whay are so many anchors gay? Like Muir? Shepard? That sickoid on local Channel 2? Jessica Savitch?

  9. She doesnt look like an Island Laker—she looks more Buffalo Groveish—as in Goofy.

Island Lakers tend to be more, whats the word, practical looking than she.

She just looks like a goof.

And arrived suddenly out of nowhere after the PRimary with a magic 100k plus in her coffers.

    Typical Madigan play.

Shes with Madigan, you run from her far and fast.

    Dave why are you retiring?

  10. Holy Cow!

    Or rather unholy sea cow!

Tell that whale to swim to another sea and spout her bile there!

  11. David McSweeney retired, to focus on running against Tammy or running for secretary of state. 🤔

David Muir, Don Lemons and others choose to be gay. 😮

  12. Millionaire State Rep. David McSweeney is angling to run for Governor.

    Count on it.

Nothing less will satisfy his inflated ego and his utterly unfounded self-esteem…
