State’s Attorney Continues to Offer Traning for Police

STATE’S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE OFFERS LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING

The McHenry County State’s Attorney, Louis A. Bianchi, announces that law enforcement training on MOTIONS TO SUPPRESS STATEMENTS will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009, at the State’s Attorney’s Office in the Grand Jury room at 1:30 pm.

This training is open to all police departments in McHenry County and the Illinois State Police.

The training will focus on recent appellate court decisions regarding witness interviews, suspect confessions and the admissibility of those statements during trial.

The training will be presented by Assistant State’s Attorney Philip Hiscock.
