No big surprise that Pro-Life supporters would be behind Presidential candidate Rick Santorum.
In the 14th Congressional District, the one that covers all of McHenry County, but Algonquin Township, here are the Delegate candidates:
- Al Salvi – Mundelein
- Kathleen R. Salvi – Mundelein
- Irene M. Napier – Crystal Lake

The Alternate Delegate candidates to the Republican National Nominating Convention follow:
- Charles G. Bacon – Island Lake
- Chad N. Koppie, Sr. – Gilberts
- Nancy Weber – St. Charles
The nice thing about Illinois’ is presidential delegates and alternates are elected by primary voters in each congressional district. One hopes, seeing the delegate names of the Salvis and Ms. Napier, Santorum is an active candidate in the presdential primaries come March 20th.
Now, will any of these named be at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in late August as delegates is dependent on their successful election (and the fate of Santorum), but it’s a good slate.
