Running for re-election in District 2 are Jim Heisler, Ken Koehler and Donna Kurtz.  A vacancy has opened up with the retirement of Scott Breeden.  Besides Wilbeck, Crystal Lake City Councilwoman Carolyn Schofield is running.

I hope every candidate has figured out that McHenry County Blog is willing to post press releases from those running for office.  My hope is this will provide a way candidates can directly communicate to potential constituents.

  1. Hi Tom,
I have every confidence that the people of McHenry District will see that you are a experienced man of the world, having travelled with you on several occasions across the planet, an because of that I know I speak the truth here.

The passion and commitment that you show towards your family, town and your Country, especially in the fields of finance, morals and fairness, show people who you live and work with that a vote for you means a vote for an honest, fair and compassionate man.

Your enthusiasm for the good of the community is both commendable and rare making you a unique person who earns respect, not commands it.

I wish you every success, and am confident that you will succeed.

My best wishes to Sharon, and your Family.

    Your Friend,

    Paul.
