With citizens getting uppity on proposed recreational zoning restrictions and mailings going out in opposition to the Continuous Flow Intersection proposal at Randall and Algonquin Roads, McHenry County officials have decided to move next Wednesday’s 8:15 AM meeting of the Transportation Committee to the County Board room in Woodstock.

Here’s the notice that arrived this morning:

The TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 8:15 a.m. has been RELOCATED.

The meeting will be held at:

McHenry County Government Center
Administration Building – 667 Ware Road
Woodstock, IL 60098

Proponents and opponents will be marshaling troops to speak in the public comment period.

One wonders if the presentation of the final recommendation of consultant TranSystem will be make before or after the public comment period.

If after, folks will not be able to comment on what is to be voted upon later in the meeting…unless that pops in a member agenda package.
