About 70% of the Republican primary votes in the 66th District come from McHenry County, yet the only McHenry County candidate still in the race is not leading.

East Dundee’s Allen Skillicorn is leading both McHenry County Board member Carolyn Schofield and West Dundee Village Board member Dan Wilbrandt.  Still on the ballot, Paul Serwatka is also receiving votes.

Three candidates are splitting the vote in McHenry County.

• Allen Skillicorn – 32%
• Carolyn Schofield – 30%
• Dan Wilbrandt – 27%
• Paul Serwatka  – 10%
