A press release from the Environment Defenders of McHenry County:

CRYSTAL LAKE – On the first Wednesday of each month, environmentally-minded people gather upstairs at Duke’s Alehouse & Kitchen to network and talk about “greening” the future. Everyone is welcome to attend the McHenry County Green Drinks on April 6th, from 5 pm until 7 pm, 110 N Main Street in Crystal Lake.

“Join us at April’s Green Drinks as we celebrate Earth Day! April 6 from 5-7.

We’ll focus on trees and the services they provide for us.

We’ll have some local tree seedlings free for the first folks who arrive, thanks to the Arbor Day Foundation and a generous donation.
