  3. McHenry County Board District 5 candidates:

    Andrew Snarski, Republican, Crystal Lake – Accountant who worked for a very large (S&P 500 / Fortune 500) publicly held fertilizer company called Mosiac which formed in 2004 as a merger between IMC and Cargill’s crop nutrition division. His LinkedIn account states he has experience with business process improvement, SAP, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Analysis, Logistics, more. The current McHenry County Board does not have anyone with this type of experience and background.

    Mike Skala, Republican incumbent – Graft Township Precinct 1 Republican Committeeman. Previous elected school board member and President of Huntley school district 158.

    Alex Wimmer, Democrat – Endorsed by IUOE Local 150. Attorney.

    Paula Yensen, Democrat, Lake in the Hills – Wife of McHenry County Democrat Party Chair Mike Bissett. Republican Woodstock Mayor Brian Sager endorsed Democrats Jack Franks and Paula Yensen this election cycle. Elected Lake in the Hills Village Trustee (village board). Previously was elected to McHenry County Board.
