ARTURO HERNANDEZ-PEDRAZA FOUND GUILTY BY JURY OF
AGGRAVATED CRIMINAL SEXUAL ABUSE, PREDATORY CRIMINAL
SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD, CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT,
SEXUAL RELATIONS WITHIN FAMILIES, AND DOMESTIC BATTERY
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Arturo Hernandez-Pedraza, 42, of Crystal Lake, Illinois, was found guilty on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, of
- three counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse
- three counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child
- four counts of Criminal Sexual Assault
- three counts of Sexual Relations within Families, and
- one count of Domestic Battery
Defendant was charged with having sexual contact with a family member for over thirteen years.
The defendant faces a minimum sentence of 37 years in the Department of Corrections.
Defendant is scheduled to be sentenced by Honorable Judge Michael Coppedge on December 19, 2019.
The case was investigated by Detective Eitel of the Crystal Lake Police Department.
The case was prosecuted by Sharyl Eisenstein and Susanne Groebner of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
