Pro-Lifers Greeting Abortion-Supporting President Biden

An alert went out from the Pro-Life Action League to come to Crystal Lake on Wednesday to protest against President Joe Biden:

>> URGENT ACTION ALERT << President Biden Protest

The alert was forwarded by McHenry County Right-to-Life.

Sponsored by PRO-LIFE ACTION LEAGUE

We’ll meet at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lord & Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church at 9300 Ridgefield Road in Crystal Lake, about 3/4 mile from the entrance to McHenry County College where Biden is speaking. Map to parking location

A shuttle will be provided to bring you to the protest site at the college entrance. The last shuttle will leave the parking lot at noon sharp. If you arrive after 12:00 p.m. you’ll have to walk to the entrance.
President Biden is scheduled to arrive at the college between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. We’ll be all set up before he gets there.

This is an urgent protest, and the first opportunity the Pro-Life Action League has had to protest President Biden. Please make every effort to be there.

While I was taking photos at the demonstration, I got some of Pro-Life supporters.

The day after the President left, this email from Eric Scheiler arrived. (Photos were requested and are interspersed in the email.)

Yesterday I organized a last-minute protest of President Joe Biden when he visited McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He was there to give a speech about his “Build Back Better” plan.

Hundreds of people came out for Biden’s visit, and it was a wild scene for miles around the campus. Most were there to protest Biden, with a few turning up to express their support.

Scores of pro-lifers were among crowd, and our large posters showing the body of little boy aborted at 15 weeks were prominently on display.

By the way, I picked those images to use yesterday, specifically because the Mississippi law at issue in the Dobbs v. Jackson case now before the Supreme Court would save babies his age from abortion.

Here’s some of what I learned during yesterday’s impromptu protest:

1. Trump supporters are pro-life — but they have a lot to learn!

The crowd at MCC was dominated by Trump supporters, and they responded very positively to our pro-life signs.

But it was clear that many of them hadn’t given the abortion issue much thought.

One woman, looking at the image of the aborted baby boy on our signs, asked if the baby had lived!

This tells me that you and I have a great opportunity to educate our fellow citizens who support Trump and are vaguely pro-life but don’t know much about the issue.

2. Joe Biden is afraid to be seen.

It’s no secret that President Biden has been avoiding the public eye.

But it was something else to see that first hand.

It was rumored that Biden would be visiting a local ice cream shop, as he has done in the past on his trips.

In fact, I bicycled from the protest area to two different ice cream shops, where throngs of Biden supporters were hopefully awaiting a visit from the president.

They were disappointed — and so was I.

If the president had left campus with his motorcade, he would have passed right by our signs with the caption, “Joe Biden: What about THIS little guy?”

Instead, Biden left campus the way he’d come: by helicopter.

3. There is hope for democracy in America.

During the three hours we were on the ground with our protest, I had the opportunity to talk to all kinds of different people: “Trump 2024” boosters, “Abolish ICE” protesters, moderate Biden fans, and even Proud Boys.

Despite our disagreements on particular policy issues and more, these conversations were respectful and I found at least a sliver of common ground with everyone.

I ended several of these chats with, “God Bless America” — a comment that was well received and a sentiment we can all get behind.

In the past, I’ve protested Joe Biden both as vice-president and as a candidate in two presidential elections.

This was my very first opportunity to protest him as President, and I was grateful for the opportunity.

How about you?

Would you be interested in protesting Joe Biden if he came to your town?

If so let me know! Together, we can keep an eye on the White House schedule and if Biden is coming nearby, we can put together a great protest plan!

By the way, Biden’s team did everything they could to avoid a big protest yesterday, keeping details of his Illinois visit quiet until the last minute.

They failed.

But their attempt at secrecy shows how sensitive they are to big public opposition to Biden’s policies.

That’s why it’s so urgent that we protest Biden over his pro-abortion extremism at every possible opportunity. Let’s make it happen!

  1. All politicians are agnostic about anything but money.

Biden is wildly unintelligent and has only ever been for sale his entire career.

At this point Biden is just an empty vessel used by whatever Money wants from him.

To think public funding of Planned Parenthood will go away on the morality of the issue is to misunderstand the money laundering they do of public monies to pass through to campaigns.

The terror of all politicians is someone who can’t be bought.

Obama entered office a pauper and eight short years later left office a billionaire.

Another recent President entered office a billionaire and left with his wealth…. diminished.

Which one was for sale and which one was for The People?

The only way morality, ideals or any semblance of Servant Representation will return to public offices will be if the wonderful people who had the energy to protest this idiotic President at MCC will work to see Servant Leaders elected to office.

    Great job on the Action!

    Action does help accountability.

Keep it up to work for saving our communities and government from the predations of selfish self serving interests.

Particularly interests who murder for money and then have the utter gall to say their eugenically inspired services are an empowering valuable part of community building necessitating public funding of their murder.

  2. Cal, did you miss Mike Buehler’s explanation for going to the event and the kind words Sue Ness had about Buehler and Biden? Here is the link.

I don’t want to copy and paste too much from the article otherwise CASSIE might get mad at me. It’s her article, but I think I can share some quotes from elected officials and we won’t get in trouble.

“I’m really here as a representative of the entire county, and as an elected official.” -Mike Buehler

“That means a lot because I have a similar feeling.” -Sue Ness referring to Buehler

“Hopefully, all the residents of Crystal Lake and McHenry County remember the excitement of this day for a long time to come.” -Buehler

“He brings humanity to his role I think, and it’s something I respect as an elected official.” -Ness referring to Biden

All the quotes were from that Shaw Media article written by “CRAZY” Cassie Buchmann.

Buehler also talked about how he saw Jimmy Carter when he was a kid.

…I wonder what people think about all that.
