Brick Placed on Jeff Keicher’s Senior Citizen Driver’s License Reform Legislation

When bill passage deadlines approach, Speakers of the Illinois House since W. Robert Blair have figured out how not to call bills in numeric order.

Which bills are called and when they are allowed to be voted upon is totally up to the Speaker now.

State Rep. Jeff Keicher’s bill to conform Illinois law on drivers licenses to that of every other state in the country was not allowed a vote.

Even though it was the idea of the Democratic Party Secretary of State.

Was it because Keicher is a Republican?

Here is what Keicher wrote:

“…the ratio of bills being taken up in the House is still frustratingly one-sided.

“Of the 324 bills that passed the House last week, only 33, a mere 10.2%, were filed by Republican members while all the rest were Democrat bills.

“And I’m disappointed, despite having more than three dozen bipartisan co-sponsors, my legislation to end the ageist requirement for senior drivers to retake the driving test when they renew their license (HB 4431), regardless of driving record or ability, was not called for a vote and we couldn’t get an answer from the Speaker’s office on why it wasn’t called.”

  1. Thank another el stupido libtard voter… its all about them them them… only…

  2. I don’t want to pile on Jeff, but yesterday my old man driving skills, somehow managed to allow me to run over a very streetwise squirrel.

  3. “Thank another el stupido libtard voter… its all about them them them… only…”

What’s the difference between you and them.

For you, it’s all about You, You, You.

  4. Rep. Keicher, when Illinois has, by far most units of government that desperately need to be consolidate, why not a bill that is subject to this problem? Then maybe you might get the Speaker’s support. HB 4431 would have zero effects on our over-taxed pocketbooks. I’m an 86-year-old senior, I think we should be tested. It looks to me your house sponsors just wanted some attention. Speaker Welch has more important issues to contend with. Please contact me at thebobberwl@gmail.com or 815-653-9865. Let’s talk government consolidation!

  5. Like duh.

    Bob Anderson, you are great!!!!

Yeah, the government waste is horrendous.

That’s what democrats and their Rino pets do!

“Republican” Steve Reick hung up on me when I asked him why he supports homo marriage and the sanctuary state BS.

He was a mandatory vax creep too!
