I’m on the press release mailing list of Huntley School District 158. When I looked at this picture, I was reminded how the Crystal Lake Herald used to regularly run pictures of what kids at the Crystal Lake Grade School did.

Conley Elementary Announces
Winners of the Coyote Howl Award

Principal Alice Stech of Conley Elementary is pleased to announce the winners of the Conley Coyote Howl Award for the week of September 5, 2008.

The Coyote Howl was presented to:

3rd grade students: Peyton Moore and Logan Nemes.
4th grade students: Kaelee Martin and Matt Mathis.
5th grade students: Amina Hasan and Derek Niedbalec.

This award is given to Conley Elementary students who demonstrate good citizenship above and beyond expectations. They received a certificate for a free 10” thin crust cheese pizza from Papa Saverio’s Pizzeria.
