Joe Walsh
Walsh was a last-minute fill-in when the scheduled speaker was unable to make it.
Why?
“You made me who I am, so you call and I hop,” he explained.
Walsh joked that people had showed up because they were wondering “whether [U.S. Senator Mark Kirk] can still do his job.”
Tuesday night on his 5-8 PM show, Walsh asked, “Shouldn’t he step down?”

“We’ve reached the point where we have to ask the question.”
The first caller on the segment was highly negative.
Others, including a nurse who deals with stroke rehabilitation patients in DuPage County, gave medical terms for the symptoms that Kirk has shown on TV and agreed that he should take a medical leave of absence.
“Boy, did I get in trouble for that!” Walsh said.

Oh sure, Joe, it’s not enough that you want to pollute our area with your dumb agenda, as a second-choice speaker of garbage, now you want to pick on poor Mark Kirk and publicly humiliate this man and tell him he can no longer work.
