Yesterday I received a new Medicare card.
The card from which I tore my new Medicare card.
It replaces one that had my Social Security number with a letter added on .
Identity theft hit my brain in the late 1990’s.
Sometime about 2010, someone actually used my Social Security number to file an income tax return.
That resulted in about a 6-7 month delay in getting our refund.
Now each year the IRS sends a special identity number to use when filing.
The letter that accompanied the new Medicare card with what appears to be a randomly selected ten character identification.
So, almost twenty years after the problem of identity theft arose, the Federal government decides to stop exposing Medicare recipients to the danger having one’s Social Scurrility card in one’s possession.

Thank you Koch brothers and libertarian Mercatus Center for funding a study that revealed what we already knew: Medicare for All will save lives, will insure 30 million more Americans than the sick for=profit insurance system we have today, and will save over $200 billion in the process annually (over $2T in 10 years). The clock keeps ticking; first we kick out the republikkklan leadership from Congress; next we send tronald chump back to his old business of bankrupting casinos (perhaps managing a casino from federal prison), and then elect Bernie Sanders President of the United States. Angel is referring to a new study that said with Medicare For All we’d spend 33 trillion over the course of 10 years compared to 35 trillion without it. ~6 percent savings in total spending.
That’s a pretty underwhelming victory for the Democratic Socialists, especially considering the U.S. spends over double the OECD average and the pitch of universal health care is that we should be like other developed countries.
No wonder leftists like Angel aren’t saying how high of a payroll tax would be required to fund this program. They also refuse to say what progressive income tax rates in Illinois should be. They go out preaching rainbows and unicorns, but the math just doesn’t paint such a rosy picture. Their ideas are worth discussing, but policy debates require full disclosure to make informed choices.
Why does Angel think libertarians like Donald Trump? The Koch Brothers were rooting for other people in the primary — only an uniformed person or someone deliberately misleading people would be surprised that the Koch Brothers and Trump argue. Torturing people? Tariffs? Border wall? Ramping up the drug war? Increasing military spending? You leftist clowns need to get your story straight on whether Trump is a totalitarian or a libertarian. my lot is 50 x 52 story two bedroom bath and a half and a unfinished basement which cost me almost $6000 a year in property taxes
most son was sent to jail and convicted in what I consider very unfair
hearing I came up with a $15,300 bond for my son to show up for his court date
seems like the court wants to punish me as they’ve taken court finds out totally almost $8000,00
that’s really due to most on the lesson if they would’ve gotten his abstract from the secretary of states office they would’ve found out he didn’t have three DUIs and was only convicted of driving on a suspended license

They say they are all for saving money, but apparently a 6% savings on a dollar amount of $35T is not very impressive. Additionally, their hard line pro-life stance takes a back seat when confronted with the fact that every man, woman, and child will be covered under Medicare for All, which will finish the tragedy of having 45,000 Americans dying because they lack health care. Of course, they laser-focus on the increase in taxes, overlooking the fact that Americans will benefit of an even greater saving by not having to pay premiums, deductibles, and co-payments.
