I was bushed after spending three hours taking pictures in the sun and six hours preparing these stories yesterday:

Until bedtime, we watched episodes of “Bosch,” the series based on Michael Connelly’s excellent books.
But, since there are a lot more of the almost 300 pictures I took, let’s look further at who was outside at the McHenry County College appearance of President Joe Biden.
I find it interesting the pre- and post-visit coverage emphasize that Biden is the first “sitting President” to visit McHenry County.
Completely ignored is the 1988 visit of future President George Bush to a jam-packed McHenry County College gym arranged by McHenry County and Illinois State Republican Party Chairman Al Jourdan.
The next shot after the woman holding a Biden flag out of her car window is this one of a woman carrying a flag while wearing a patriotic tee shirt.
Then I saw a sign that sums up the result of what President Biden would talk about.
I got a photo of another flag that was new to me.
A couple of cars decided to follow the example of the Black Lives Matter/End ICE supporters and park in front of the IDOT dump trucks on the west side of Route 14.
There was some verbal sparring between the Black Live Matters/End ICE folks and the conservatives who parked a bit up Route 14. It resulted in Crystal Lake Policemen crossing the road from their MCC entrance blocking duty to have some words with the conservatives.
Besides car and trucks honking horns occasionally to encourage the Trump supporters, some people were what might be called “drive by” demonstrator.
Another patriotic citizen closely followed the first.
A caravan of Illinois State Police cars arrived.
A small Trump flag was displayed from a car driving by.
Here’s a shot of the crowd from the vantage point of the entrance to the auditorium parking lot.
Very few people in private cars were granted access to MCC via the entrance where I was standing. Besides Congresswoman Lauren Underwood, this mystery woman with Florida plate KNA S36 was admitted.
Secret Service personnel also admitted this Illinois car.
Not everyone arrived by car. This couple rode their bikes.
And then a helicopter arrived.
A pickup truck flying a Trump flag drove by.
A red car followed with a flag I cannot identify.
Waling down the middle of Route 14 were these two.
Another car carried a pro-Biden message. (It’s occupants would have been interesting to interview.)

Trump used to do informal polls at the rallies by asking the audience to cheer based on which they liked better MAGA or KAG.
KAG would usually get a louder response (but not by much).

From what I’ve seen on social media, these “conservative” or “Republican” groups that are pro-Biden are either your Evan McMuffin neocon Never Trump types OR what I actually find more often (maybe not on television or in terms of the big power players, but on small social media accounts) is that they aren’t conservatives or Republican at all!
They’re just Democrats or leftists saying they are to make an illusion.
They’re not even neocons.
They’re straight up Democrats or communists.
When you see some “conservative” group arguing against Trump and for Biden but using Democratic or leftist talking points, you should know right away that they are imposers.
I almost never see people arguing for Biden and against Trump from an actual Republican or conservative point of view because the case would be rather weak.
That’s why many of the neocons have resorted to vulgarity, making memes, complaining about Trump’s tone or being not presidential, portraying him as a failure of a businessman, or something along those lines.
Rarely would they engage in a dialogue about how Trump is insufficiently Republican or conservative.
The neocons even work with the militant far left by reporting pro-Trump individuals to them so that they can do the dirty work and harass the Trumpers.
The neocons don’t care and are actually funded by left-liberal groups, including George Soros.
They sometimes are part of an umbrella of organizations that are mostly Democrat.
Lincoln Project, which is mostly Never Trump Republicans, just hired a lifelong Democratic strategist called Joe Trippi.
I thought it was weird that Lincoln Project and Never Trump people were arguing to make the House AND Senate blue.
Why the heck would you want a Democratic trifecta if you are a Republican who just has a problem with Trump?
Some would be tempted to reply, “Well they are trying to oust pro-Trump Republicans.”
Nope, it’s more than that.
They’re trying to get rid of Republicans in general, regardless of their relationship to Trump.
They’re simply pro-Democrat.
They spent tons of money trying to get rid of Susan Collins who isn’t exactly a big Trump supporter (they failed).
Well, they are funded by Democrats, so the distinction between the Never Trump Republicans and the Democrats or leftists posing as anti-Trump Republicans doesn’t even matter that much (but it is funny when the Democrats and leftists doing it are so bad at it that it’s blatantly obvious they are not Republicans at all).
One could make some stretches and try to make the case Trump is a bad Republican or not a conservative, but you notice they don’t do it.
Why?
They’re imposers, they’re not smart people, and the big players are getting money from organizations that wouldn’t want a Republican or conservative worldview legitimized in the first place.
Also, the people who are going to click and share their memes and posts are probably NOT going to be Republicans who don’t like Trump.
heir bread and butter is with people who don’t like Trump who are mostly NOT Republicans.
The anti-Trump crowd is a lot bigger than the anti-Trump Republican crowd.
They’re not going for a small subset of anti-Trump people, they’re going for the average anti-Trump person but simply *calling* themselves Republicans is supposed to give them credibility as these wise Republicans who happen to not like Trump.
It’s all bogus.
